Candy Popcorn

Preparing popcorn has never been easier or more fun!

Serves Each batch serves 2-3 kids
Recipe Ingredients
  • 100 ml SPAR popcorn
  • SPAR sunflower oil
  • 160 ml SPAR icing sugar
  • 25 ml warm water
  • Few drops of food colours of choice
Recipe Method
  1. Cook a batch of popcorn.
  2. While the popcorn is cooking, combine the icing sugar, water and colouring in a small bowl.
  3. Pour this mixture over the still-hot popcorn, and toss thoroughly so it coats the popcorn well. Scatter loosely onto a tray, and set aside to cool and harden.
  4. Repeat these steps twice, using a different colour each time, so you have three colours to mix together once dry.
