California Hot Dog

Add a little West Coast sunshine to your hot dog with the addition of fresh avocado, salad and feta cheese.

Recipe Ingredients
  • 8 SPAR Tender & Tasty braai buster hot dogs, cooked
  • 8 SPAR Bakery seeded hot dog rolls
  • 4 TBSP SPAR Braai sauce
  • 1 cup SPAR Freshline lettuce, shredded
  • 2 SPAR Freshline tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 SPAR Freshline avocados, sliced
  • 1 cup SPAR feta cheese, crumbled
  • Pepper, to taste
Recipe Method
  1. Preheat grill pan over a high heat and spray with non-stick spray.
  2. Add sausages to the heated grill pan and cook 4-5 minutes, cooking evenly.
  3. Smear braai sauce on the inside of each bun
  4. Add lettuce, then sausage and place tomatoes and avocados on either side of the sausage.
  5. Brush the sausage with more BBQ sauce and top with feta cheese and pepper.
