A Salad for the Season
A lovely summer salad that’s packed with flavour.

Recipe Ingredients
- 2 SPAR freshline mangoes
- 1 packet SPAR freshline Seasons Value Salad
- 1 SPAR freshline cucumber, sliced
- ½ SPAR freshline red onion, thinly sliced
- 80g SPAR Tender & Tasty biltong, sliced
- 100g Marksbury Select Cheese Danish Blue
- SPAR Signature Selection Garlic and Herb Vinaigrette
Recipe Method
- Peel, slice and cube the mango.
- Scatter the salad leaves over a platter and arrange the mango, cucumber and onion slices amongst the leaves.
- Top with the sliced biltong and crumble the blue cheese over.
- Drizzle with the dressing just before serving.
Hints And Tips
- Add sliced blanched green beans, rocket or watercress.
- Blanch the red onion to reduce some of the sharpness.
- Substitute the mango with figs or nectarines.
